Geneva, June 24, 2025. The Palais des Nations hosted the inauguration of the photographic exhibition “Not a woman's job? Women Leading in Multilateralism and Diplomacy”, aimed at highlighting the remarkable results achieved by women in multilateralism and diplomacy. Women Leading in Multilateralism and Diplomacy", aimed at highlighting the remarkable performance of women in various roles in diplomacy and multilateralism.
In its fourth consecutive year, the initiative organized by the United Nations Office at Geneva was dedicated, for the first time, to the International Day of Women in Diplomacy. Thus, the exhibition showed examples of the active role of women in foreign policy in 60 countries, including Cuba.
The Island is represented in the exhibition by two images that reflect the experience and strength of women who are part of Cuban revolutionary diplomacy, as well as the impetus of the young students of the “Raúl Roa García” Higher Institute of International Relations, who are preparing to represent the humanist foreign policy of the Cuban Revolution.
The inauguration of the exhibition was attended by the Director General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, Tatiana Valovaya, a large representation of the permanent missions accredited in Geneva, as well as representatives of international organizations.
