Kingston, 22 January 2025. The Third Secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in Jamaica, Anabel Landrón Ochoa, together with the National Coordinator of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Jamaica, Dr. Katia Ochoa Aguilera and the member of the Educational Brigade, Luz Marina Céspedes, participated in the Career Expo and Employment Fair organised by the Ministry of Health and Wellness of the island.
In the space dedicated to Cuba, hundreds of young Jamaicans learned about the historic health cooperation ties between the two nations. They obtained detailed information on the opportunities to pursue higher undergraduate and postgraduate studies in our country, through the Bilateral Scholarship Programme and the self-financed modality.
This event is hosted by the Confucius Institute of the University of the West Indies Mona Camp and will be open to the public until 23 January.
