Oslo, January 15, 2024. Maité Rivero Torres, ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of Norway, and Eddy Santos González, counsellor for tourism in the Nordic region -based at the Cuban Embassy in Stockholm-, attended the Fair TravelXpo 2024, which took place from January 12 to 14, at Telenor Arena, in this city.
As on previous occasions, the event gathered around a hundred exhibitors, including agencies, tour operators and other players in the tourism and travel industry, both Norwegian and international. Likewise, it included an extensive program of presentations on trips and tourist destinations.
The Ambassador and the Counselor took the opportunity to exchange with representatives of local travel agencies interested in the Cuban tourism product.
It was, without any doubt, an excellent opportunity to promote Cuba as an attractive tourist destination in America and the Caribbean. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
