EMITT, one of the five most important tourism fairs in the world, starts today, February 5.
The Cuban delegation is headed by Consul General Raul Madrigal and includes tourism counselor Yanet Mora Ferguson and a broad representation of the country's hotel chains such as Gran Caribe, Cubanacan Hoteles, Islazul and Gaviota; associates Melia Hotels, Iberostar Cuba Hotels & Resorts, Blue Diamonds Resorts; travel agencies Cubatur, Viajes Cubanacan, Havanatur, San Cristobal, Amistur; and Palmares, representing OSDE Cubasol.
Between February 5 and 7, there will be presentations and opportunities for exchanges with tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, market entrepreneurs and the specialized press. All these actions will be aimed at promoting and marketing Cuba as a destination, as well as updating the market.
