Cuba present at the XVII Session of the Council of the International Renewable Energy Agency

Cuba is present at the opening of the XVII Session of the Council of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) to be held from June 25 to 27, 2019 in Abu Dhabi.

The delegation of Cuba is chaired by the head of the Cuban mission in the United Arab Emirates, Jorge León Cruz, who has had positive exchanges with IRENA executives and members of participating delegations.

During the work sessions, the implementation of the Work Program and the 2020-2021 Budget of IRENA will be valued, which has confirmed the willingness to work together for collaboration in renewable energy projects.
