London, November 20. Business opportunities with Cuba were presented at the International Chambers of Commerce Forum, held in the city of Wales. This event, organized by the Welsh Chamber, in this first edition stood out for its international approach, promoting alliances with chambers of commerce, embassies and companies from different countries.
Marta Castillo, Counselor for Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Cuba in the United Kingdom, participated in the launch of this important event organized by the Chamber of Wales, which brings together more than 80% of businesses in the region and is recognized for its international projection. During his speech, Castillo highlighted the advantages of Cuba as a safe and attractive destination for foreign investment, in addition to explaining the business opportunities available in key sectors and the investment modalities offered by the country. The event brought together prominent members of the Welsh Chamber, representatives of the Department of International Trade of the Welsh Government, the Department of Business and Trade, and academia. It was also a valuable opportunity to promote the Havana International Fair and Expocaribe, considered the main commercial platforms in Cuba, which serve as a meeting point for international businessmen interested in establishing alliances and exploring the Cuban market.
The sectoral trade fairs were also highlighted as key venues for business negotiations and the generation of commercial opportunities. The forum was consolidated as an ideal space for fostering connections, exchanging ideas and exploring new opportunities for collaboration. It also provided a platform for discussing the importance of international trade and the role of strategic alliances in a globalized world.
