Cuba presents its achievements on Biotechnology in Zimbabwe
Cuba presented its advances in the field of biotechnology, based on the importance that the government of the island has given to this area, which has resulted in the creation of a large group of products destined for human health, as well as achievements in animal health and food production.
This was raised by the MSc. Marisol Romeu Hernández, head of the Biotechnology Unit in the Provincial Delegation of CITMA in Havana during her presentation to the 2nd Training Workshop on "Industrial Biotechnology: promoting added value and beneficiation", carried out In Harare, Zimbabwe between 22 and 24 August 2017.
The event, sponsored by the Nonaligned Movement Science and Technology Center, based in India, had the participation of representatives from more than 20 non-aligned countries, including Malaysia, Zimbabwe, Gambia, India, Indonesia and South Africa.
