In Cuba, the President of the Republic of Ghana

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, arrived in Havana on Wednesday afternoon, and was received at Terminal No. 1 of the “José Martí” International Airport by Rogelio Sierra, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba.

As part of his official visit to the island, the President of Ghana will meet with Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, president of the Councils of State and Ministers.

This arrival of the President of the Republic of Ghana takes place in the year that marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

The bilateral links include education, agriculture, health and sports.
