Eros Bernal Morales, Methodist of the National Baseball Directorate and Head of the National Program of "Baseball 5" in Cuba and Briandy Molina Elías, Instructor and Sportsman of the Cuban University of Physical Culture and Sport Sciences "Manuel Fajardo" arrived today in Thailand.

"Baseball 5" is a modality of that sport with 5 players and 5 innings. The ball is rubber. There are no pitcher, no bat or gloves.
The first "Baseball 5" tournament took place in Havana, in November 2017. The sport is sponsored by the World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC). The WBSC intends to spread throughout the world this sport, that emerged on Cuban streets under the name "Cuatro Esquinas".
This week, the Cuban instructors will teach in Thailand theoretical and practical classes about "Baseball 5", as well as the characteristics of its training program. This tour of the delegation also includes China (Hong Kong) and Iran. Countries like France, Italy and the Czech Republic, among others, already practice it.
The interest and potential in this sport is a good field of cooperation and friendship between peoples and nations. Long live "Baseball 5" ... !!!
