Paris, Mar 18 (Prensa Latina) Cuba will promote the island as a destination of choice at the World Tourism Fair in Paris. •Cuba''s Nature and Heritage Promoted in Tourism Show in Paris The island seeks to encourage sales, facilitate tourists' visits, recruit new customers and take advantage of this unique showcase to introduce new products, services and exclusive offers. According to government sources, the emphasis will be on resort areas and on encouraging summer travel. Rosa Adela Mejias, Tourism adviser at the Cuban embassy in France, said that Cuban staff will meet the public, listen to interests, respond to concerns regarding the possibilities of discovering Cuba in all its cultural aspects, but from the perspective of the resort. The Cuban delegation is made up of representatives of the Ministry of Tourism, Cubatur agency and Cubanacan hotel groups, Melia Hotels International, Iberostar Hotels and Resorts, Blue Diamond Resorts and Accor Hotels. The Porte de Versailles Exhibition Park hosts the event until March 20th.
