The Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark, Roger López García, ratified the friendship and support of his country towards the cause of Palestine, in defense of its freedom and sovereignty.
By participating in the 54th anniversary of the creation of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (FDLP), the Cuban diplomat recognized the historical struggle of the movement for the inalienable rights of his people.
He recalled that the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, professed deep affection and respect for the leader of the FDLP, Nayef Hawatmeh, as well as that he always defended the ties of brotherhood and fraternity with the Palestinian cause, in the face of repulsive brutality of his adversaries.
In his speech, López García stressed that Cuba advocates for a fair, comprehensive, and lasting solution to the conflict, and supported the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to build their own State within the borders prior to 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and the end of the Israeli occupation of the occupied Palestinian territories.
