¨We are observing with concern the expulsions of a large number of russian diplomats by the united states and nato member countries. These actions have been taken without considering the results of impartial investigations of the facts, disregarding the dialogue, understanding and cooperation that should be paramount in international relations as a route towards the solution of disagreements, according to the spirit of the norms of international law and the united nations charter.

Cuba believes that cooperation should prevail over confrontation at the same time as it rejects the application of unilateral measures that threaten international stability.¨

The Cuban goverment rejected this wednesday the expulsion of Russian diplomats from different countries and calls for the respect of internatonal law and the principles of the United Nations Charter.

The day before, the Russian chancellor Serguei Lavrov , rejected what he qualified as nonsense from the west with the expulsion of more than 140 diplomats from 25 countries.

Larov considers that the geographical distribution of the expulsion, some of them of only one official , demonstrates the rightness of the claims made by Moscow, that few countries remain truly independent, especially in Europe.

Regretfully these are some of the methods now employed by Washington in the international arena, referring to the accusations made without proof thrown at Moscow, after the supposed poisoning of the double agent Serguei Skripal and his daughter, the past 4th of march, in the city of Salisbury , England.
