Accra, March 27, 2024. - The coordinator of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign-Ghana, Naa Ayeley Adarfio, visited the Embassy of the Caribbean island in the African capital this morning with great happiness for her upcoming trip to the largest of the Antilles. This great friend is scheduled to visit Cuba on April 18 to join the May Day Brigade with several of our trade unionist brothers and sisters.
Among other activities, the Brigade will take part in the festivities for Workers' Day, visit the Fidel Castro Centre and visit several of the island's provinces. The visit to the Playa Girón Museum, where the events related to the first victory of the Cuban Revolution over Yankee imperialism are detailed, will be significant.
The brothers and sisters participating in the Brigade are aware of the consequences of the commercial, economic and financial blockade on the island and are preparing to support with productive activities. On their return they will have an exchange with the embassy about their experiences.
