With the aim of strengthening tourism and cultural ties between Cuba and Türkiye and promoting tourism and culture in the Pearl of the Caribbean, the “Cuba Única” Roadshow is being organized. This traveling initiative will visit five key cities in the Eurasian country: Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Izmir, and Istanbul.
This event offers tour operators, travel agencies, and the specialized press a unique opportunity to explore Cuba's rich cultural heritage, vibrant history, and diverse tourism offerings. Attendees will be able to experience firsthand the island's latest developments and attractions, from its iconic beaches and colonial cities to its fascinating music, art, and cuisine.
The roadshow features the participation of the Embassy's Tourism Advisor, Yanet Mora, and representatives from several Cuban tourism companies: Vice President of Business at Cubanacán Hotels, Irán Ramos; Vice President of Marketing at Islazul Hotels; Sales Executive at Muthu Hotels, Liliam Crespo; Sales Executive at Iberostar Hotels, Hana Gutiérrez; Director of Development for Europe at Blue Diamond Resorts, Reginald Curbelo; Director of Development for Europe at Melia Hotels International, Miguel Weiss; Commercial Director at Roc Hotels, Malaika García; Sales Executive at Gran Caribe Hotels, Rismaidy Caraballo; Director of Development for Europe at Grupo Gaviota, Herminio Gálvez; Head of Market at Viajes Cubanacán, Milagros Peña; and Commercial Specialist at Agencia de Viajes Ecotur, Tamara Díaz. They will present the products and services that make up a diversified offering, including accommodation options, travel opportunities, and the exclusive experiences that Cuba has to offer Turkish visitors.
These will be spaces that will facilitate direct contact with professionals in the sector.
In the city of Ankara, we will be joined by the Political Council of the diplomatic mission, Oscar Redondo, as well as the Consul General, Raúl Madrigal, in Istanbul.
The event will be attended by executives from Turkish Airlines, the market's flagship airline; a representative from Tursab; and the specialized media outlets Anadolu and TRT.
