Cuba was present at the commemorative act for the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Fascism, held in Ankara.

Cuban Ambassador to Türkiye, Alejandro Díaz Palacios participated in the celebrations for the Victory Day of the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War, responding to an invitation made by the Russian Ambassador to Türkiye.

Cuba celebrates the enormous and decisive contribution of the former USSR to the defeat of fascism and the end of World War II, reviving the unbreakable spirit of a people that did not let itself be defeated and gave everything to achieve victory.
Cuban Councilor Oscar Redondo Ramos was also present.
