Dili on October 26, 2026. The event opened with remarks by Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao, who was accompanied by members of the government and the national parliament. On this occasion, the Timorese head of government highlighted the key points identified for the development of this important sector, such as support for local production, an entrepreneurial mindset and patience, support from the National Development Bank for small and medium-sized enterprises, and national participation, with more than 350 women entrepreneurs from Timor-Leste’s 12 municipalities and the Administrative Region in attendance.
The diplomatic corps was also invited to this celebration, which was attended by the head of the Diplomatic Mission, Alina Aldama.
