Cuban Ambassador and Managing Director of EXIM Bank hold work meeting.

Kingston, Jamaica, 29 March 2019. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Inés Fors Fernández, visited the headquarters of the The National Export-Import Bank of Jamaica (EXIM Bank), where she met with Mrs. Lisa Bell, its Managing Director.

In the cordial meeting, both sides discussed the growing interest of Jamaican and Cuban companies in doing business, and the importance of creating and strengthening financial mechanisms that facilitate exports in both directions.

According to its website, EXIM Bank plays a fundamental role in national development by providing a wide range of financing instruments at competitive interest rates for the country’s productive sector.
