Cuban ambassador attend meeting with the Malaysian Foreign Minister

Kuala Lumpur, February 14 - Malaysian Foreign Minister Dato Saifuddin Abdullah welcomed the Latin American and Caribbean group accredited in the country with a cordial and friendly atmosphere.

During the meeting, the foreign minister discussed the ministry's work work program during the current year and was interested in supporting the group's activities to raise awareness of the Latin American region in Malaysia.

In a brief exchange, the ambassador, Ibete Fernández Hernández, expressed appreciation for Malaysia's vote to the Cuban resolution against the blockade, addressing issues of bilateral interest.

Ambassadors and business managers from the 10 Latin American and Caribbean countries resident in the country participated in the meeting.
