Cuban ambassador attended the opening ceremony of Sri Lanka Parliamen

Colombo, November 21, 2024. Cuban ambassador Andres Marcelo Garrido participated in the opening ceremony of the Sri Lanka's tenth parliament session in Colombo together with the accredited diplomatic corps .

The ambassador had the opportunity to greet some new ministers and lawmakers, like Vijitha Herath, Minister of Foreign, Foreign Employment & Tourism, Minister Bimal Ratnayake , Leader of the House, Wasantha Samarasinghe , minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security & Co-operative Development, Eranga Gunasekara, National Organizer of Socialist Youth Union (SYU)  Sri Lanka, and others members of the Parliament.
