Islamabad, August 7, 2026. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Damián Cordero Torres, attended the commemoration of the 78th anniversary of the proclamation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), held in this capital.
The Cuban Ambassador congratulated the Ambassador of the DPRK, His Ex
cellency Choe Chang Man, on another anniversary of the national foundation of this sister nation. He wished success to the North Korean government and people and expressed gratitude for the solidarity historically shown to Cuba since the beginning of the Revolution and throughout its battles against the U.S. blockade.
Ambassadors and other members of the diplomatic corps attended the event, alongside Pakistani government officials and representatives from various institutions.
