Islamabad, October 14, 2025._ Today marks the twentieth anniversary of the arrival of the first flight of the Cuban Medical Brigade “Henry Reeve” to Pakistan, following the devastating earthquake that had ravaged the northeast of the country six days earlier. The 7.6 magnitude earthquake caused 86,000 deaths, around 100,000 injuries, and left some three million people homeless.

August 13, 2025 marks the 99th anniversary of the birth of Fidel Castro, an emblematic figure of the Cuban Revolution and a symbol of anti-imperialist resistance. Although Cuba and Pakistan are thousands of miles apart, their bilateral relationship has been marked by gestures of solidarity and cooperation in which the Commander-in-Chief's influence has been decisive. His memory lives on in Pakistan as the moral architect of a bond guided by the values of sovereignty, equality, and mutual non-intervention, and cemented by concrete examples of selfless aid and active diplomacy.

Cuba and Pakistan hold Sixth Round of Bilateral Political Dialogue

Havana, April 28, 2025 - The Sixth Round of Bilateral Political Dialogue between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was held on Monday. The meeting was chaired by Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo and the Under Secretary for the Americas of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, H.E. Ms. Mariam Madeeha Aftab.
