CUBAN AMBASSADOR ATTENDS ESBECAN (ASSOCIATION OF CUBAN GRADUATES) CONGRESS.

Accra. 27 September. As part of the celebration of the Seventh Congress of the Association of Cuban Graduates (ESBECAN), the Ambassador of the Greater Antilles to the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mr. Julio E. Pujol Torres, met with a group of newly graduated students from the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM), whom our National Hero, José Martí, aptly described as “the new pines.”

The Congress also paid tribute to the centenary of the birth of the Commander-in-Chief, Fidel Castro, while reaffirming the commitment of its members to lead in Ghana the commemorative activities marking this milestone and to spearhead a Pan-African campaign calling for the immediate lifting of the blockade against Cuba.

The Cuban Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the gesture and congratulated the newly elected leadership, encouraging them to persevere in their commitment at this significant juncture for the Revolution.
