Kingston, August 20, 2023 - Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, was among those invited to participate in the 2023 Annual Conference of the Patriotic Movement of Jamaica, held at the Conference Center of this city.
During the event that gathered members of this movement from different parts of the island and abroad, founder and President Carlos Daley thanked the people of Cuba and the Cuban Revolution for their permanent solidarity and cooperation with the peoples of the Caribbean, including Jamaica. Other speakers acknowledged Cuba's work for the achievement of equality and social justice in the hard struggle against the blockade and imperialism.

Other speakers acknowledged the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro and Cuba's work to achieve equality and social justice in the hard struggle against the blockade and imperialism.
During his speech, the Cuban diplomat exchanged with the participants on the current situation in Cuba, denouncing the illegality and extraterritorial nature of the blockade of the US government and the inclusion of Cuba in the list of states that allegedly sponsor terrorism. He also ratified to those present Cuba's firm commitment and solidarity with the peoples of the Caribbean (Embacuba Jamaica).
