Copenhagen, April 17, 2020. Her Majesty Margrette II, Queen of Denmark, received in an audience the new Ambassador of Cuba Roger López García, at the Amalienborg Palace, who presented the Letters of credentials that accredit him in these functions.
The Cuban diplomat extend greetings from the Cuban President Miguel Díaz Canel to the Queen. At the meeting, interest in the development of friendly relations between both nations was reiterated.
During the ceremony, the Cuban Ambassador was accompanied by his wife Eneida Lemus Zellero.
The Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen is the official residence of the Danish royal family during winter. It is not a single palace, but four, distributed around a square presided over by the statue of King Frederick V (Amalienborg Square).
