Cairo, March 24, 2025. This morning the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Mr. Alexander Pellicer Moraga, presented in a solemn ceremony to the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, the Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In the brief exchange, the Cuban diplomat conveyed warm greetings from Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel to his Egyptian counterpart, while reiterating Cuba's willingness to continue developing and strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
For his part, the Egyptian president sent a cordial greeting to the Cuban president and welcomed the new ambassador, wishing him success in the performance of his duties in Egypt. The President underscored Egypt's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in various fields, and stressed the importance of continuous communication, coordination and consultation on various regional and international issues of common interest.
