Accra, March 13, 2024- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba received, at the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr. General Secretary of the Socialist Movement of Ghana, SMG, and great friend of Cuba, and SMG member, Blaise Diboro Kanzonuba Tulo, who will participate in the Third Edition of the International Colloquium Patria, to be held on March 18, 19 and 20 at the PABEXPO fair ground, in Havana, Cuba.
The event, sponsored by the Union of Journalists of Cuba, will bring together communicators, journalists, digital creators, designers and artists to participate in Havana for three days of discussion on Artificial Intelligence and the legal, economic, narrative and activist aspects of networks in the Global South.
Dr Kwesi Pratt Jnr, journalist and editor-in-chief of The Insight newspaper, was awarded the Friendship Medal in 2005. On this occasion, as he has visited Cuba on several occasions, he was a special guest speaker at the event. He will also develop a work programme with the Cuban Institute of Communication and the Communist Party of Cuba.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba bid farewell to both guests, thanking them for their collaboration with the Cuban people and for accepting the invitation to the event.
