Cuban Ambassador to Ghana participates in commemoration of the UN International Day of Peacekeepers.

Accra, 29 May, 2025. - This morning the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mr. Julio E. Pujol Torres participated in the Flag Raising Ceremony held outside the Ghanaian Parliament in commemoration of the 77th Anniversary of the United Nations International Day of Peacekeepers.

The ceremony is marked annually on May 29 to pay tribute and to honour peacekeepers across the globe. This year’s commemoration was on the theme: “The Future of Peacekeeping: Strengthening Partnership and Mul­tilateralism in Ghana and Beyond.” Four wreaths were laid to honour the fallen heroes.
