Cuban Ambassador greets the President of Ghana for New Year

The Cuban Ambassador, Pedro L. Despaigne González, conveyed his greetings to the President of Ghana, Mr. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during the annual New Year´s Greeting Ceremony by the Diplomatic Corps to the President of the host country.

The ceremony was held at the Peduase Lodge located in the mountainous town of Aburi, in the Eastern region of the country.

The Ghanaian president was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo; the Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia; the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Mrs. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey among other government and parliamentary officials. The Cuban ambassador was accompanied at the ceremony by his wife, as recorded by the Ghanaian protocol.
