Cuban Ambassador hands Black Star Excellence Award 2016 over to first Ghanaian Ambassador to Cuba

As part of the celebration of the 107th Anniversary of the birth of the founder of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the Socialist Forum of Ghana (SFG) awarded a group of persons with it highest distinction, among them the Ambassador Kojo Amo Gottfried.

The Ambassador Kojo Amo Gottfreid, was the first Ghanaian Ambassador to Cuba. Nowadays is a prominent member of the Association of Solidarity with Cuba. The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Mr. Pedro Luis Despaigne González handed the supporting plate over to him.

In the political-cultural activity were the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, and acting President, Mr. Kwesi Amissah-Arthur; the Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Edward Doe Adjaho, and the Minister of Defense, Mr. Benjamin Kunbuor. There were also leaders of the political parties of the ideology of Nkrumah, representatives of the Trade Unions, and members of the Diplomatic Corps. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Ghana)
