Cuban Ambassador held a meeting with Simon Bridges, President of Auckland's Chamber of Commerce.

16 de septiembre de 2024.- During the meeting, the Ambassador presented a letter from the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, highlighting recent changes in Cuban economic policy, including the development of New Economic Actors and other forms of property. Emphasizing the crucial role of foreign investment in Cuba's National Plan for Economic and Social Development until 2030.
 
They discussed the possibility of signing a Cooperation Agreement between the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba (CCRC) and the Chamber of Commerce of Auckland. This agreement would involve developing an action plan to undertake specific tasks in sectors of mutual interest, especially agriculture, milk and dairy production, tourism, and biotechnology, among others.
 
The meeting between the Cuban Ambassador and the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Auckland underscores the commitment of both parties to explore avenues of economic cooperation and strengthen bilateral ties.
