Cuban Ambassador to Indonesia Received by the President of BRIN

JAKARTA, 15 September 2025. The President (with ministerial rank) of Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Laksana Tri Handoko received the Cuban Ambassador to Indonesia, Dagmar González Grau.

During the meeting, they reviewed the status of ongoing initiatives stemming from the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in science, technology, and innovation, signed between CITMA and BRIN in September 2004.

They also discussed other potential areas of cooperation, including those that could be developed within the framework of ASEAN.

Other BRIN authorities and officials also participated in the meeting. A highly productive encounter further strengthens the cooperative ties between Cuba and Indonesia.
