Cuban Ambassador makes a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Korea.

Kampala. Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques paid a courtesy call on Mr. Jong Tong, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Korea (DRC) in Uganda.

After a warm reception by officials and relatives, both diplomats held a fraternal meeting in which they reviewed the main events of the historic relations between Cuba and the DRC.

They also exchanged on the challenges facing both countries in the current international context and the importance of the unity of both peoples around their governments, as an essential premise to maintain political stability and achieve the economic prosperity to which they aspire.
