The Hague, March 25, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Eva Yelina Silva Walker, met with the Director of Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights, Mark Zellenrath, at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, they discussed the importance of respect for the principles of international law, respectful dialogue between countries, and the defense of the international legal order.
The Cuban Ambassador emphasized the flagrant violation of international law represented by the unjust economic, financial, and commercial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba for more than 60 years, and thanked the Netherlands for its support, along with the European bloc, in the Cuban resolution against it.
Both diplomats agreed on their willingness to cooperate and exchange views on issues of common interest in various multilateral forums.
