The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Türkiye held a fruitful meeting with Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman ALİY, President of the Yunus Emre Vakfı Institute, an institution dedicated to promoting the Turkish language and culture around the world.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on strengthening cultural and educational ties between Cuba and Türkiye. They agreed on the importance of intercultural dialogue and academic cooperation as key instruments to foster greater mutual understanding between the two nations.
The Cuban Ambassador highlighted Cuba’s interest in expanding its relations with Turkish cultural institutions and emphasized the potential for collaboration in artistic exchange, language teaching, and university cooperation.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman ALİY expressed the Yunus Emre Vakfı’s willingness to engage in joint initiatives that contribute to mutual cultural understanding between Türkiye and Cuba, including educational programs, exhibitions, and research projects.
