Cuban Ambassador meets with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, October 15 - Malaysian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senator Dato Yahaya Marzuki received the Cuban ambassador to that country, Ibete Fernández.

During the meeting the Cuban diplomat informed about the presentation for the twenty-eigth time, on November 6 and 7 of the resolution “Need to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States of America against Cuba ”At the general assembly of the United Nations.

The ambassador explained that last year the United States government has taken various measures to reinforce the blockade against Cuba using the intimidation of companies and companies that wish to do business with the island and thus reinforcing the extraterritorial effect of the law, which violates the rules and principles of international trade.

The deputy minister thanked the information and reaffirmed that Malaysia, is opposed by unilateral principles of unilateral sanctions at the beginning of its foreign policy while considering unfair measures taken by the United States that essentially affect the population.

Malaysia has always voted alongside Cuba against the blockade.
