NIGERIA, May 17, 2017. The Cuban Ambassador, Carlos Trejo Sosa, granted an exclusive interview to the newspaper "Vanguard".
The state of bilateral relations between Cuba and Nigeria; The interest of the state governments of the African country to re-establish bilateral cooperation, especially in the areas of health, agriculture and education; As well as the permanence of the effects of the American blockade against the Caribbean nation were some of the topics discussed during the meeting.
The diplomat demonstrated with examples the validity of the application of the blockade imposed by the United States Government and its extraterritorial character, even mentioned the effects that it causes to the own American citizens.
In response to the question regarding bilateral cooperation, Carlos Trejo mentioned the opportunities that the Cuban Government can offer the Nigerian people in health, in the pharmaceutical area and even in the education of their youth.
