Oslo, February 28, 2025. The Ambassador Maité Rivero Torres received Alejandro Sánchez Castellanos, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Havana, a few hours before his return to Cuba at the end of a stay of several weeks in Norway as part of the cooperation project “Ecological Connections: Cultural Studies in Cuba and Norway” (ECOCON), existing between the University of Havana and the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) in Bø.
Both reviewed the main events that have taken place in the last period within the framework of the aforementioned project and those planned for the coming months of the current year and the next one.
ECOCON is a cooperation project that promotes the exchange of students and professors, as well as collaboration in the area of research in literature, linguistic and cultural studies. It is funded through the NORPART program of the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir). (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
