Cuban Ambassador to Pakistan signs book of condolences at Iranian Embassy

Islamabad, March 6, 2026. Cuban Ambassador Damián Cordero Torres visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Pakistani capital to sign the book of condolences and pay tribute to the recently deceased Grand Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran, who was viciously assassinated by Israeli and US attacks in Tehran.

During his visit, Ambassador Cordero Torres also conveyed condolences on behalf of Cuba and the diplomatic mission he represents to Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadan, Ambassador of Iran, who thanked him for the sincere diplomatic gesture and acknowledged Cuba's loyalty.
