Cuban Ambassador participates in a meeting of the Norwegian Minister of International Development with the Latin American and Caribbean Group (GRULAC)

Oslo, May 5, 2025. Along with her colleagues from the Latin American and Caribbean Group (GRULAC), the Cuban Ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, participated in a meeting with the Norwegian Minister of International Development, Åsmund Grøver Aukrust.

Norway's priorities in international cooperation and assistance for development, as well as its current projection in those fields in Latin America and Caribbean countries, were widely addressed. Special emphasis was placed on the potential for expansion in areas of common interest.

Åslaug Nygard, Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and several officials from that Department were also present in the meeting. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
