Cuban Ambassador participates in reception at the Norwegian Parliament

Oslo, March 8, 2024. The ambassador of Cuba to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, attended the reception offered annually by the Presidium of the Norwegian Parliament (Storting) in honor of the diplomatic corps accredited in Norway.

The words of greeting and welcome were given by Nils T. Bjørke, second vicepresident of the Storting. Ine Marie Søreide Eriksen, chair of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, and Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Foreign Affairs, also made their remarks.

The occasion allowed the Cuban diplomat and her colleagues to exchange with parliamentarians and other outstanding personalities (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
