Oslo, April 10, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, Maité Rivero Torres, attended the annual reception offered by the Presidium of the Norwegian Parliament (Storting) in honor of the diplomatic corps. This reception was especially significant as it was the last one of the current legislative term.
Upon her arrival, the Ambassador had the opportunity to greet the members of the Storting´s Presidium.
The words of welcome were given by the president of the Storting, Masud Gharahkhani. Ine Eriksen Søreide, chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense, and Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Foreign Affairs, also made their remarks.
The occasion allowed the Cuban diplomat and her colleagues to exchange with parliamentarians, officials from the International Department of the Storting and other Norwegian personalities.
