Vientiane June 18, 2022. The Cuban ambassador in Vientiane was received by the DG of ASEAN at the Lao MINREX, an occasion in which they coincided with the positive step taken by Cuba after its accession to the Treaty of Cooperation and Friendship in November 2020. ; Similarly, the Cuban diplomat highlighted the participation of Dr. Saphanphone Sedattan in the First Cuba 'ASEAN Technical Meeting, where the high level of Science in Cuba and the potential for cooperation in sectors such as health, pharmacy and biotechnology were recognized.
