Kuala Lumpur, October 8 - The Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, was received in audience by the Chief Minister of the of Perak, the highest political authority of the state, Dato Ahmad FaizalAzumu.
The occasion was favorable to congratulate the Chief Minister for his election in office after the general elections last May and offer a detailed explanation of Cuba's current situation, its business opportunities and Cuba's willingness to analyse possibilities of establishing business mutually advantageous.
According to Dato Azumu, the state has numerous companies in charge of the production of surgical gloves and is interested in advancing the development of biotechnology.
In the interview made by the press after the meeting, the Cuban ambassador thanked the warm reception given and invited Malaysia to join once again the sentence against the blockade imposed by the United States.
