Cuban Ambassador pays courtesy call on the Vice President of Maldives

SRI LANKA, January 23, 2019. - The Ambassador of Cuba, Juana Elena Ramos Rodríguez, paid a courtesy call on Vice President of the Republic of Maldives, Faisal Naseem, at the President’s Office.

The Vice President welcomed the Ambassador and expressed good wishes from the Government and the people of Maldives to the Government and the people of Cuba.

During the meeting, both sides highlighted the close relations between both countries, as well as reiterated the will to continue working to strengthen collaboration in various areas of mutual interest such as tourism and health.

The meeting took place in a fraternal and friendly atmosphere.
