Cuban Ambassador presents Copies of the Letters of Credence to Mauritius Secretary of Foreign Affairs

Port Louis, February 27, 2026 – The Mauritius Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Janmajaising Bissoondoyal, today received the Copies of the Letters of Credence of the Ambassador-designate of Cuba, Her Excellency Susellys Pérez Mesa, in a ceremony prior to the presentation of her credentials to the President of Mauritius.

Bissoondoyal reiterated the African nation's long-standing support for Cuba against the blockade imposed by the United States more than six decades ago.

The ceremony at the Mauritius Foreign Ministry was attended by the Director of Protocol, V. Huree.
