Riyadh, September 14th – In a brief virtual ceremony, Ambassador Vladimir Gonzalez presented the copy of his credentials as the new non-resident Head of Mission to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to his Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
During the ceremony, the diplomat said he was honored to be accredited as the new Ambassador of Cuba and conveyed to the minister the greetings of the Island's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla.
Likewise, he expressed his full willingness to carry out all the necessary efforts to further develop relations of friendship and cooperation between the respective countries in the different spheres.
He also conveyed his desire to visit the Kingdom soon, to have the honor to present the Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
On his part, Dr. Al-Zayani welcomed Mr. Gonzalez as the new Cuban Envoy to the Kingdom and thanked his Cuban counterpart for the greetings, which he reciprocated.
In addition, the Minister assured he could count on the support of the Bahraini authorities and in particular the Foreign Ministry to carry out his work as Head of Mission, with a view to continue promoting bilateral ties between the two countries in different fields. (EmbaCuba Arabia Saudita)
