Wellington, September 3rd, 2019 - Organized by the Latin America Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence (CAPE) and Young Enterprise (YES), in collaboration with Callaghan Innovation, the event “Globalists in Action Weekend 2019” took place at the Victoria Business School of Wellington, with the aim of bringing young New Zealand entrepreneurs to markets and businesses with Latin America.
As part of the program, the Cuban Ambassador, Mario Alzugaray made a presentation on Cuba, with special emphasis on the business opportunities offered by our country and the potential for exchange with New Zealand in branches such as agriculture, tourism, biotechnology and services of health. The occasion was propitious to highlight the work of Cuban doctors in the Pacific.
The GiA weekend event is part of a group of actions aimed to expand the business skills of these students and the knowledge of Latin America. Part of the program includes the development of a market entry strategy for New Zealand companies that want to do business in the Latin American region. (Embacuba NZ)
