Cuban Ambassador is received by the Director General of Multilateral Affairs of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry

Oslo, October 26, 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba, Maité Rivero Torres, was received at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Tine Morch Smith, recently appointed as Director General of Multilateral Affairs.

The meeting allowed the Ambassador to review topics of interest on the multilateral agenda and ratify the will of working together for strengthening the cooperation existing between the two countries within the framework of international organizations, particularly at the United Nations system.

The Cuban diplomat acknowledged once again Norway´s traditional support to the claim for the lifting of the US blockade against Cuba at the UN General Assembly. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
