Bandung, December 22, 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba to Indonesia, Dagmar González Grau, paid an official visit to the city of Bandung on December 23, 2025, where she held a meeting with Muhammad Farhan, Mayor of Bandung.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the possibilities of cooperation in the sectors of health, education, environment, and disaster risk management. They also spoke about the possibility of developing activities in 2026, the Year of the Centennial of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
Bandung is one of the most important cities in Indonesia: capital of West Java, the third largest city in the country after Jakarta and Surabaya, and known as the “Paris of Java” for its cool climate, colonial architecture, and historical role in international politics. Its relevance lies in being a key educational, technological, cultural, and tourist center.
