Vientine, March 2024. The Cuban Ambassador in this capital received warm and friendly congratulations on the occasion of International Women's Day, from the Lao Women's Union, in particular, the message of greeting of this women's organization to its Cuban counterpart, the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) and its XI Congress held on March 7 and 8.
The president of the Supreme People's Court, Cra. Vienthong Siphandone, as well as the dean of the National Lao University, Thongsouk Keomany send greetings on that occasion and the Ambassador received the visit of directors and professors of the Faculty of Letters, colleagues and friends in general.
The Cuban diplomat expressed gratitude to everyone on a very special day that recognizes and reaffirms the importance of the tireless struggle for women's rights and their essential presence and drive in the advancement of society.
She stressed that she was proud of the Federation of Cuban Women, an invincible bulwark of the Revolution, which successfully held its XI Congress, with a positive balance and many tasks and challenges that, with necessary unity and strength, will be an engine in the direction of reaching new heights.
